"Enter the Void" was initially performed as a bass and vocal track. For the guitar overdubs, I played my ES-335 through a stereo amp setup while Timmy Andrews manipulated knobs on various Chase Bliss pedals. There are two drum tracks, one in each channel.

The street sounds bridging "Enter the Void" and "Mean Streets" were recorded at Woodbridge Lake in Irvine, California.
